About Student Reviews

Student Reviews is an independent, student-run platform where real students share honest, verified reviews about their university and program experiences.

We were started by students who felt that the information available about programs like NIAT (NxtWave Institute of Advanced Technologies) was heavily biased toward marketing. We wanted a place where real experiences could be shared openly — the good and the bad.

Our Mission

To help students and parents make informed decisions about education by providing access to honest, verified reviews and in-depth investigations.

What We Do

Why We Focus on NIAT

Because we experienced it firsthand. We joined NIAT expecting the premium experience that was marketed — MAANG mentors, industry-ready curriculum, placement support. What we found was different. Our goal isn't to attack NIAT — it's to give prospective students the information we wish we had before joining.

About the Founder

Student Reviews was founded by Pragnyan Ramtha, a real NIAT student who experienced the gap between promise and reality firsthand. After joining NIAT at MRV Hyderabad through Aurora's transfer process, he faced fee issues, classroom bans, and months of silence from support.

Instead of staying quiet, he started documenting everything. What began as a personal experience turned into this platform — a space where other students could share their stories and where prospective students could find the truth before paying lakhs in fees.

Pragnyan is active on GitHub where he shares tools and resources he built during his investigations.

Verification Process

Every review on this platform goes through verification:

  1. Reviewer provides proof of enrollment (student ID, email, or transcript)
  2. We cross-check the details against known university records
  3. We publish the review while protecting the reviewer's identity
  4. We follow up if new information comes to light
